CBT
Cognitive Behavioural Therapyis a structured, evidence-based therapeutic approach that explores how thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physical responses interact, helping change unhelpful patterns linked to anxiety, stress, and overwhelm.

CBT focuses on understanding the connection between the way we think, the way we feel emotionally and physically, and the way we respond to situations in everyday life. Sometimes the mind develops automatic patterns of thinking or behaviour that once served a purpose but now contribute to anxiety, overwhelm, low confidence, panic, or emotional distress.
During CBT-informed therapy, we work together to identify these patterns gently and practically. This may include recognising negative thinking cycles, self-critical beliefs, avoidance behaviours, catastrophic thinking, or nervous system responses that keep stress and anxiety going.
The goal is not simply “positive thinking,” but developing healthier, more balanced ways of understanding situations, managing emotions, and responding to challenges. Sessions are collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your experiences and goals.
CBT can support people experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, stress, phobias, obsessive thinking, low self-esteem, trauma-related responses, and emotional overwhelm. Over time, many people notice increased emotional awareness, improved coping skills, greater confidence, and a stronger sense of control over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
